Danny VannI was one of Bay City, Michigan’s broken sons. The oldest of six children, my parents divorced, I was placed in an orphanage, then a foster home and back to a stepfamily with alcohol abuse. I left (no – I ran!) from home at the age of 17 when I was a junior in high school. But I went on to graduate from Cadillac Senior High School with honors. I had the leading role in the high school play & wrote a song for music theory class that was selected to be performed at an assembly in front of the entire school.

What held me together through it all? GOD – and the gift of music that He gave to me. In the orphanage I was an altar boy and literally went to church everyday and twice on Sunday. Prayer and singing were my constant companions. I always suspected I was born to serve God – I just didn’t know how until I was born again in March 2004 at Bay Valley Christian Church (BVCC) in Bay City.

Now I want to share more of the real story: that Elvis really LOVED Gospel music – and how God’s Word, music, Elvis and the church body – all help me to serve my Savior.

Are you hurting?  Are you broken yet?  Or is your life perfect in every way? Come and hear what I finally learned through all my trials!

In my new show, "The Other Side of Elvis - The King is Alive!" you’ll not only hear Elvis Gospel with the same heart and soul that Elvis put into it – you’ll also hear why this music was written and how it can help broken, hurting people – from one who has been there and has overcome that (me)! Elvis himself strongly related to these gospel songs in a way that still lives on in the emotions and spirit that is sure to touch every Elvis fan deep down in their soul.

Little Known Fact: Elvis received 14 Grammy nominations from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS). His three wins were for gospel recordings - the album How Great Thou Art (1967), the album He Touched Me (1972) and his live Memphis concert recording of the song How Great Thou Art (1974).

In fact, on the night of his death Elvis prayed, "Dear Lord, please show me a way. I'm tired and confused, and I need your help." A few minutes later, he looked at Rick Stanley (his step-brother) and said, "Rick, we should all begin to live for Christ."

On the previous day, Stanley heard Elvis praying, "God, forgive me for my sins. Let people have compassion and understanding of the things I have done." God wants you to live in peace. He wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams!

Come.  Get some of Jesus’ love for yourself.  It’s truly Amazing Grace ... and it’s given FREE to all who ask for it.
