July 8 - Danny, along with manager Gary Stripling (The Management Agency, Inc.) attended the 29th Annual Mississippi Gospel Music Awards held at the Jackson (MS) Marriott. Danny and Gary met many of the performers and awards winners as well as several key "industry-insiders" who expressed keen interest in Danny's new tour, The Other Side of Elvis. See photos below.
August 16 - Danny and his band will be showcased at the WDIA Radio Patio Party at the Historical Daisy Theatre on Beale Street in Memphis. The Showcase precedes the Jus' Blues Music Awards Show that evening. Danny will be performing early in the Showcase and will return again later for a second performance. He has also been asked to present an award at the Awards Show! This is an especially important day, as it is the 30th Anniversary of Elvis' death and the Awards Show is part of Elvis Week activities in Memphis. Click here for more information about this event.
